As Director, Strategic Partnerships + Philanthropy, Nora Worthington leads fundraising and partnership efforts that secure philanthropic support for carbon project development, landscape restoration, and community impact. She develops diversified fundraising strategies, cultivates relationships with foundations, individual donors, corporations, and climate-focused partners, and translates technical project milestones and community benefits into compelling proposals and partnership opportunities. She also oversees donor stewardship, grant management, and fundraising data systems while collaborating across finance, technical, and program teams on corporate partnerships, blended finance, and carbon-market engagement.
Nora brings about 10 years of experience in nonprofit development, advancement, and communications. Before joining Eden, she served as Director of Communications and Development at Women’s Justice Initiative and held several development roles with the National Audubon Society, building expertise in major gifts, institutional fundraising, strategic communications, board engagement, and data-driven fundraising. She holds an MA in Sustainable Development, International Policy and Management and a BA in Latin American Studies. Nora is motivated by mission-driven work and the opportunity to connect people and resources with solutions that create lasting benefits for communities and the environment. Beyond her day-to-day role, her interests include international travel, technology and databases, and staying immersed in developments across philanthropy and civil society.
