As Finance and Administration Officer, Bwalya Katuta-Machila oversees financial and administrative operations that support project implementation in Zambia. Her work includes financial reporting, budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, cash flow management, procurement, audit support, and office administration, with a strong focus on compliance, accountability, and efficient resource management.
Bwalya brings more than four years of experience in donor-funded and international development programs where she has developed expertise in financial management, compliance, procurement, project start-up and closeout, and risk management. Her background includes work on projects supported by USAID, the Gates Foundation, the Scottish Government, UNICEF, and the Firelight Foundation. Outside of work she enjoys reading, learning, community engagement, travel, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
