Marvin Mpola leads restoration and carbon initiatives in Zambia, focused on delivering strong technical quality, financial viability, and meaningful benefits for communities and ecosystems. As Country Director, he provides strategic oversight for programs that aim to restore landscapes, strengthen livelihoods, and create sustainable climate and community impact at scale.
With over 15 years of experience in forestry, natural resource management, climate change, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable land management, Marvin brings deep expertise in carbon project development, GIS, and geospatial science. His background includes leadership roles with World Vision Zambia, Biocarbon Partners, and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. When not at work, Marvin can be found spending time in nature, reading, watching crime shows, and being with family and friends.
