Elliot Kinsey leads all aspects of forest carbon project development in Tanzania. As Country Director, his role includes building the local team, managing government and community engagement, overseeing technical work across carbon accounting, GIS, and MRV, and supporting company operations in Tanzania, including compliance, finance, and legal matters.
With more than 15 years of experience in conservation and natural resource management across East Africa, Elliot brings expertise in carbon project development, GIS and spatial analysis, and MEAL system design. The opportunity to build long-term projects that support both conservation and community development motivates Elliot in his role. When not at work, he enjoys hiking, trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, and getting out on safari.
